Beaujolais Nouveau, Thursday 19th November
It's that time of year again! The harvest is over, the first wines of the new vintage are ready, and across France, glasses are being raised to celebrate the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau.
This November, we're bringing a little of that tradition to Toklas, turning the whole restaurant into a celebration of good wine, generous food and the simple pleasure of coming together around the table.
Chris Shaw and the kitchen team will be cooking up a special menu inspired by the region, accompanied by a glass of Château Thivin Beaujolais Nouveau, fresh, vibrant and made to be enjoyed in good company.
As always, Agustina and the Toklas wine team will be putting together a special Beaujolais wine list for the occasion, showcasing the diversity of the region, from the youthful exuberance of Nouveau to the more complex and expressive wines of its celebrated crus.
A lively evening, a full table, a glass (or two) of Gamay and a little French joie de vivre.
£80 per person, including a special Beaujolais-inspired set menu and a glass of Château Thivin Beaujolais Nouveau.
